In All Together Now- A Live Stream Dream, Sarah Thom (Gob Squad )and I attempt to come together although distance keeps us apart. She is in Nottingham, UK and I am in Berlin.Using live-stream technology we try to stay in touch. We each have a performance space, Sarah is alone and I have an audience. We perform live to camera; this image is simultaneously live-streamed onto the internet, and it is here in cyber space that we meet. We both share our space with a large projection of this live-streamed image, in front of which we both stand attempting to maintain contact. The audience was able to witness our meeting live in the performance space or remotely via the internet. This piece was presented as a pilot work in progress at Trampoline New Media Platform, in conjunction with Transmediale Berlin. Future plans involve developing the web page. "I hope it doesn't hurt when we crash, but I promise to be there for you if it does."
